AMMUNITION
The M107-pattern shell is the baseline conventional (non-extended-range) 155 mm high-explosive projectile, widely compatible with M107/M795-family 155 mm howitzer systems. GDIL Group supplies the body in both empty and explosive-filled configurations.

AMMUNITION
The ERFB Boat-Tail configuration extends effective range over the M107-pattern baseline through a tapered boat-tail afterbody, which reduces base drag in flight. Body material, driving-band, and base-disc specifications follow the common 155 mm platform.

AMMUNITION
The ERFB Base-Bleed configuration integrates a base-bleed unit that reduces base drag by injecting combustion gas into the low-pressure wake behind the projectile, extending range beyond the boat-tail configuration. The body retains an integrated base-bleed cavity in place of a simple boat-tail.
Capabilities

Heavy forging lines producing high-integrity shell bodies and critical components with controlled grain flow and repeatable metallurgy.

Multi-axis CNC machining centres holding tight tolerances across high-volume artillery and precision-engineered production batches.

Controlled handling, filling and integration of energetic materials under strict safety, traceability and compliance protocols.

Forging, heat treatment, machining, surface finishing and assembly integrated within a single controlled production flow.

In-line inspection, metrology labs and documented QA systems aligned to defence and international acceptance standards.
Our advanced manufacturing capabilities combine precision, consistency, safety, and quality to deliver reliable production aligned with evolving defence requirements.
Precision measurement and tolerance verification are carried out at every critical stage of production. Each component is carefully checked against specified dimensions to ensure consistency and accuracy. Advanced inspection methods help identify variations before final approval. This controlled approach ensures every finished component meets the required manufacturing standards and performance requirements.
